Caselman Full-auto 9mm-.45 Air Machine Mun
Whoops! Sorry for the misspell in the title! Too much Scotch!
I'm cross-posting this from the Gen. Discussion category, for any gunsmiths/machinists out there... Have you seen the Quackenbush website? They're booked up "until further notice." A market is out there! Here's a good one... I dunno why, but Caselman went missing after this vid was made and stopped producing. I would pay a lot for one of these. Any daring machinists out there? Use the Caselman prints discussed below, or modify a full-auto blowback paintball gun. Consider me a prospective customer. See comments for blueprints. (Brazilian site, in portuguese, 61mb download. Probably under development as a black ops weapon now.
Basically silent operation, no smoke or muzzle flash, little recoil, can carry more ammo due to less weight, leaves no brass behind, good for CQB work against un-armoured targets. (Oh and high rate of fire and very few working parts). Not many people know that special forces also employ things such as high-power crossbows for silent work. |

He didn't even mention all the cool benefits to the gun versus a standard sub-machinegun. |
Re: Caselman Full-auto 9mm-.45 Air Machine Mun
I've been toying with the idea of modifying an impact hammer (YOU KNOW, the ones construction workers use to build homes).
If they START banning NAILS, then we are in really deep doo... When I was a very young man, I worked construction building homes. I stopped MAINLY because I HATE having to be at work by 6 am. Anyway, I digress. One day, one of the other workers was attaching a stud wall that we had built to the interior of the home we were working on. Picks up the 'nail gun' and puts one nail into the floor. Next nail went into the side wall. FINALLY, he raises it to attach it to a ceiling joist. And that's where this idea comes from. When he hit the trigger, apparently either the gun got WAY more pressure than normal OR both boards were 'soft' where the nail went through. YES, I said 'went through'. It then proceeded to break a second floor window in a house about a 100 feet away from the home we were building. SO, modifying a nail gun would be significantly easier AND you could stock up on nails without drawing attention to yourself right now. Is it illegal to make a nail gun 'full auto'? No idea. Later on? Man, who KNOWS what's going to be 'registered'. And yeah, the guy COULD get a better videographer and could have a little better editing skills as well. |
